What it does
  • Drop or load audio files — WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, AIFF, M4A
  • Waveform view — RMS envelope and peak overlay with a seekable playhead
  • Frequency histogram — static FFT snapshot of the file's spectral content
  • Wwise properties — trim points, peak/RMS dBFS, dynamic range, DC offset, zero crossings, loop suitability
  • Compatibility analysis — scores all loaded files against each other for spectral conflict
  • Labels — colour-tag files as Candidate, Favourite, RMS Ref, Loop, etc. and jump between them
How to use
  • Drop files onto the left panel or click to browse — load as many as you need
  • Click a file in the list to analyse and display it
  • Click the waveform to seek; use Play / Stop / Loop in the transport
  • ◈ icon on any file row opens the label picker
  • ◀ LABEL / LABEL ▶ buttons jump between files with the same colour tag
  • ⟳ ANALYSE runs compatibility scoring against all other loaded files
  • AUTO toggle runs compatibility automatically on every file switch
Compatibility scoring
  • Complementary Freq — centroids far apart score higher; clashing centroids are flagged
  • Band Balance — rewards one file being low-heavy while the other is high-heavy
  • Level Match — RMS within ~6dB scores well; large differences are flagged
  • Similar Texture — tonal vs noisy content compared; matching texture layers well
  • Start + Loop Pair — bonus when one file is transient-heavy and the other is sustained
  • Score shown as 0–100 ring per file; colours: green ≥70, cyan ≥45, grey below
